Bio
Stephen Paré was born in Ithaca, New York and has lived in many places. His father was an engineer and a physicist who worked on fusion energy and arms-control verification technology; his mother was a specialist in early-childhood education.
He has tried a lot of things and read a lot of books and seen a lot of movies and listened to a lot of music. His home is now Houston, Texas, but it could be anywhere, really. He enjoys the company of almost everyone.
He makes his artworks in computers and mobile devices, almost reluctantly converting them into objects in the real world; but his artistic models are in the old traditions of painting.
In 2022 his connections in Italy led to numerous exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Venice, and other cities. His first exhibition in New York City was in fall 2024.
He participates in meetings, salons, and exhibitions with the Techspressionist community.
He is currently being represented by Simona Biglino at Avida Lab in Rome.
