Stephen Paré was born in Ithaca, New York and has lived in many places, some cooler and some warmer. He has tried a lot of things and read a lot of books and seen a lot of movies and listened to a lot of music. His home is now Houston, Texas, but it could be anywhere, really. He makes his artworks in computers and mobile devices, almost reluctantly converting them into objects in the real world; but his artistic models are in the old traditions of painting. In 2022 his connections in Italy led to numerous exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Venice, and other cities. He is currently being represented by Simona Biglino at Avida Lab in Rome. He is ambitious, vital, educated, and highly productive. He enjoys the company of almost everyone.
